Chris Stokes and B2K... UGH

So, I was listening to the radio in Atlanta and they said something about Raz-B and his older brother Ricky Romance getting sexually assaulted by his former Producer/Manager/CEO of TUG Entertainment, Chris Stokes. I was SOO upset because as a teenager, I had the biggest crush on Raz-B (LOL). So, I went to the youtube link they said to go to and looked at the two videos that were posted:







The kicker in the last video was when Chris was like "I don't do that no more", proving that he INDEED did do it in the past :(


I was NOTHING less than disgusted!! I knew Chris Stokes was the reason behind B2K breaking up, partly because THEY NEVER MADE MONEY and he was spending it all on himself, but I had no idea he was trying to turn them out!!
Then the kicker is... Marques Houston was about homosexual activities as well!!


I feel so sad for these boys, but I'm so happy that Raz-B was the one to step up and say something about this. He is really strong for this, especially when people have been accusing him of being homosexual since earlier this year (check the bottom of the page of that link). I give kudos to him and everyone who stepped up as well. I know for a fact that 2008 will be the downfall for Chris Stokes. I predict that EVERYBODY is going to lay his stuff out in the open. THIS IS CRAZY!!

Off Hiatus... Sista Socialite is back!! =]

I can't believe I've been on hiatus for a month!! UGH. I'm just happy that I'm done with finals and I have 5 weeks of school off.

My biggest regret is agreeing to work full time this break. I mean, the money is good (I'm getting paid better than a lot of people my age that aren't their own bosses), but at the same time... I'M SO BORED!!

I basically do administrative tasks, and I'm the type that when I get a project to do, I can get through with it really fast. I know they hate that because after that project, there's nothing else for me to do. The kicker is, I can't be on the computer unless it's work related (good bye blog but shh... don't tell nobody I'm on here haha). My problem is, OK, so I'm done with all my work and y'all have nothing for me to do, what do you expect me to do? Go to sleep? Stare at the screen? I asked them that and they told me to read a book... WTF? I'm all in the open so whenever someone comes in the office, they always see me. What do I look like reading a book when some important executive walks though? It don't look right! Me being on the computer is more professional than reading a book. I swear... they got something wrong with them in the head!

So I'm doing exactly what they told me to do... reading. There's this particular book that's REALLY REALLY REALLY interesting... Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. Personally, I'm not a psychology/self help reading type of person but I really like this book. He's basically teaching you how to listen to your inner self to help you make more conscious and logical reasons. It's much more than that, but those are the basics. I recommend this book to anyone. It's weird because just from the 1st chapter, I can tell if some one's marriage is going to end of in divorce just by them telling me how they met. I SHOULD BE A PSYCHOLOGIST! lol

Anyways... I gotta get off the computer before they trip LOL (I need a NEW job cause this is redic).

SOO... yea I'm supposed to be on hiatus but I have to get some stuff off my chest:

1) I don't call you AT ALL... you can't get the picture by now?

2) I'm not your child, we are both adults, don't talk to me as if I'm under you... if you want respect, you give respect. Simple as that

3) I don't know what I'm going to do about you

4) If I hear Alicia Keys' song on the radio ONE MORE TIME... I promise you I'm going to scream! I feel like we're going to relive the whole Alicia Keys getting every single Grammy she's nominated for... I feel it

I guess you guys were talking a little too much cause OMG SOMEHOW... ya'll lost against my Eagles... and OHHH YEAAAA, the *wack* Cowboys. How do ya'll manage to sleep at night after all that? 2 GAMES IN A ROW?????? I digress...

6) You say I cursed in the office (although I didn't), call me being unprofessional, but I've heard you curse in the office on numerous occasions? Hmm... a little hypocritical don't you think?

So, New York...WOW. I usually go for like a day (go in the morning, leave in the evening), so when I was able to stay for a whole night... I was STRUCK!! I stayed in Downtown Brooklyn and I had fun. I relaxed for a bit, got some cheesecake, when to Manhattan and everything. Although it was EXTRA cold the night I went to Manhattan, I had some fun. My plans got slightly altered when I became fairly sick from some Soul Food but MANNNNN was it good!! My curiousity was big when I saw the line was long and it was awesome... I dont regret eating it hahaha. SO yea... I've came to the conclusion that I wouldnt mind AT ALL moving to New York. I fell in love! I definitely want a brownstone. Maybe in Brooklyn somewhere.

1) I have this weird obsession with gummie bears. If I dont have a bag at least once a month, I'll go kinda crazy.... I definitely need to find a gummie bear rehab somewhere.

2)My favorite colors are pink and lavender, but ironically...I don't own any lavender clothing and pink is rare in my collection.

3)I celebrate my half birthday LOL. I wasn't able to do it for my 19 1/2 and 20 1/2 birthday, but I'll make up for them by doing it BIIIIIGGGGGG for my 21st.

4) You know when you go to the nail salon to get your nails done and they start using that drill thing on your nails?? WELL... I have a BIG fear of those things! lol. I hate them and you know why????? Cause them witches ALWAYS seem to find a way to slice my finger at least twice hahaha... they do it on purpose I KNOW! LOL. Funny thing is... I get my nails done on a regular.

5) Speaking of fears... I'm scared of balloons. Well... not the balloon balloon, but the popping of them. I have to literally leave out of a room and cover my ears if someone is about to pop one or if someone "accidentely" pops one... I'll scream... LOUD and unruly lol. It's serious.

6) About 5 people have told me that I walk around like there's cameras everywhere and I'm enjoying the "Hollywood Moment". I found that hilarious. Me?? Walking around like the sidewalks are everlasting runways??? NOOOOOO LOL

7) I have this weird case of DeJaVu... I can have it and know exacly what's gonna happen afterwards... THAT HAS TO BE THE WEIRDEST ONE OUT OF ALLL OF THESE!

IMO's PIZZA!!! OMMMMGGG... if you knew the SERIOUSNESS of this pizza!! LOL. It can only be found in St.Louis and Illinois. This is like my number 1 spot for pizza. Can't Nobody do it better... TRY ME!

Chicken and brocolli penne pasta with white wine alfredo sauce... OMG I done made myself extra hungry now LOL.

Mario... WOW

I feel in love with him when he first came out with that "Just A Friend 2000" song. Since then, I've supported his music through thick and then. Last week, I saw this documentary on MTV that was DEEP... so deep that I felt for him and almost shed some tears. Mario is a STRONG man... so strong that I had to do a standing ovation after looking at this piece. You would never know by looking at him that he had some BIG issues going on in his family. His mother was a serious heroin addict and he begged and pleaded for YEARS to get her to stop. Hopefully what he did at the end (Im not going to tell... you have to watch it), she'll be finally cured from her addiction. I shall keep him and his family in my prayers... even if I dont know the guy, it doesn't matter :). Everyone deserves a prayer.


I just thought I'd like to share. Despite all the rumors about his "sex tape on his cell phone", I still got love for Mr. Mario... he's an amazing person with and amazing voice.

13 Reasons why Atlanta is better...

1) Um... in D.C., you get a house for $200,000... the same house in Atlanta is gonna be $100,000... U DO THE MATH (and yes, people get paid less, but at the same time... Atlanta has some of the most successful and highest paid African-Americans in the United States... IM ON IT!)

2) Where else can u find the crunkest people around???

3)Gas prices aren't EXTRA HIGH!

4) There's always something to do on the weekends. You dont even have to pay... go to Piedmont Park and have a picnic or just chill and go shopping.

5) THE BOUTIQUES ARE AMAZING!!!!!! And there's a variety of restaurants that are fire! Check out this Tapas bar Rare... I RECOMMEND IT!

6) Some of the most beautiful people live there!

7) Besides the time between late december, early february... the weather is amazing

About my Howard Homecoming experience, I'm gonna make this short and simple

Friday October 19th, went to the Yardfest and had such performances as Lil Mama, KinFolk (So Krispy), Hurricane (and them damn beads on the ends of his individual braids), my third husband J. Holiday, the sexiness of Ray Valentine (I think that's his name... he's with Konvict Music with his shirt off mmm mmm mm LOL... i need to post this pictures!), One Chance with my 4th husband Courtney... LOVE OF MY LIFEEE!! LOL,Flo Rida, The-Dream (SHAWTY IS A TENN... his sexy self!), and Talib Kweli, with a bunch of local acts. It would have been nice if it wasnt gloomy and raining and hot!

Then that night, Lil Wayne was supposed to be at H20, but it was gonna be packed and I didnt feel like getting there 3 hours early to guarantee a chance to get in. Im glad I didnt go because I heard he locked himself in VIP and never performed... what a Drama QUEEEN!

Then the next day, the Kappas had a party at Fur Night Club... from 2am to 10am... REDIC! It wasn't happening. I was getting calls from here and there talking about (at 1am) the line was down the block, ppl fighting and everything. THEN when it opened at 2am, the line was moving a centimeter every 5 minutes. SO NOOOO DICE! I decided to just chill.

Yep, my homecoming weekend SUCKEDDDDD! UGHHHH

Howard Homecoming 2007

So... unless you know nothing about major HBCU homecomings, you should know that Howard's Homecoming has been going on all week. It's been a series of events from step shows, fashion shows, comedy shows, parades, the infamous Yardfest... it's crazy!

Personally... I didn't go to any of the events, although I had big plans to go to the fashion show, but sadly :( I had to change the dates for my dance team tryouts and yea... I couldnt do it. Maybe next year... But tomorrow is the YardFest and it's this little free concert held outside that has rappers and singers come in and... rap and sing lol. Last year I went and it was pretty wack. The people they said was gonna show up, didnt show up. They said Diddy, Nas, and Kelis, among others was gonna be there, but instead it was Monica, Nina Sky, www.brookevalentine.com and they guy that does the "Here's my, Ghetto Story"... u know the one with Alicia Keys, and some other people... OOHHHHHH my 5th husband www.treysongz.com performed, although I wasnt impressed by the fact that his braids wasnt fresh and... his wardrobe wasnt either. Oh well :) This year, I have NO CLUE who's performing. I'm mad they're keeping it a secret from the whole world cause the students at Howard have no clue either. I dont know about this...


Well... the weather man said that there's a big chance that it's gonna rain, which is not good AT ALL. Maybe if it was inside, it would be better, but, it's a yardfest so they HAVE to have it in the yard (LOSERS). So, if that doesn't happen. Lil Wayne (WEEZZZZYYYY!!) is supposed to be at H20. Im excited... VERY. He's by far the best rapper at the moment. The only problem Im having is the fact that 1: it's going to be PACKED! Because it's Lil Wayne. 2: I'm going to be at least 8 deep with people... it's not guaranteed that I can get all those people on the guest list (ugh), so some people may not be getting in free and 3: ITS GOING TO BE PACKED!! LOL ooh and it's going to rain :(. I hope everything works out. If not, there's always Fur on Saturday with the fraternity Kappa Alpha Psi.

My Weekend and MeMe Monday

Well... my weekend was great. I went home (Atlanta, Georgia) for the weekend, hung out with my mom and my best friend, also known as my little (14) sister. It was pretty great. Everytime me and my sister is together, I don't care if Im 20, I act like I'm 14 LOL. It's the only time I get to show some high energy and not have grown people look at me like... "What the he** is her problem?" LOL It's great. Saturday, I hung out with my sister and we watched Boyz N The Hood On Demand. We looked at the movie as a PURE comedy. FIRST, it was the little 10 year old with the greasy afro jerry curl, THEN, we laughed at the fact the Morris Chestnut had a gallon of milk in one hand, and **I think** an ice cream sandwich in the other hand... CLEARLY hungry and thirsty. THEN there was this one dude that was EATING his 40 haha... eating it. I mean, he was munching on it like it was a meal. LASTLY, there's this part where Cuba and Morris go and see Cuba's dad. There's this girl that walks by and they look at her. Only thing I noticed was the fact that she almost fell and they didn't cut that part off for that poor girl. We laughed for days on that one. hahaha GOOD TIMES. Now whenever you guys see Boyz in the Hood, you'll noticed the comedy in the movie.
So all in all... me and my sister act silly, my mom looks at us like we're silly. But at the same time, I PROMISE YOU, my mom is like the coolest mother to have. So my mom is tooo silly. Because she's young, I'll give her that. First of all... her song of the moment is "Hood Figga (Ni**a)" [Thank goodness she only knows the clean version haha] by Gorilla Zoe and Shoulda Let You Go by Keisha Cole (which she repeated 3 times in a row while we drove to downtown Atlanta Friday) PLUS she can GET IT with some 2 Step and Lean Wit it, Rock Wit It. I dunno if it's the south or what, but mothers aren't suppose to be that crunk... LOL

Anywho... that was my weekend in a nut shell. I caught up on some sleep, got to think A LOT about some things, and yea... it was laid back with plenty of chillaxing and meditation. To end this, here is a meme called "If You Could..."

If you could have your dream home, what are 5 “must haves” that you would want it to include? a customized kitchen (I plan to cook all the time), a customized bathroom (bathrooms are important), I'm big on stars and stuff and my dream house is gonna be in the middle of nowhere (clear from air pollution) so I can put in a see through ceiling so that I can see the stars every night (though the rain may start bothering me LOL), a very tall and glimmerous (yes... I made that one up) chandelier, and a beautiful family to share it with :)

2. If you could have your dream vehicle, what would it be? The $130,000 of my AMG SL55 Mercedes- Benz. Pitch black exterior, ruby red leather interior.. beautiful!

3. If you could change ONE thing about your life, what would it be and why?
Hmm... good question. I dont think I would change anything. Everything happens for a reason and you're supposed to learn from them. Yea, i've made mistakes in my life, but GUESS WHAT?? I'm human! Nobody's perfect and no one will be.

4. If you could change ONE thing about the way you look, what would it be and why?
One thing huh? I could tone more... but that can be done as soon as I stop being lazy already! Plus, I'm dancing, so that's helping me get back into shape

Definately America's Next Top Model. If I COULD, I'd try out, but I'm only 5ft5 and the height requirement is 5ft7

It's been a very very stressful week... VERY! From midterms and pulling almost all nighters with red bull and rockstar energy drinks on your side, to just pure drama. It's time to vent and let some stream off...

1) We never got to be friends first... that was our biggest problem

Not really. I probably do have some habits that I dont really notice, but I can't think of anything and they probably dont bother anyone (whatever they are) cause no one's complaining. OHH... I may have a habit of being impatient, but I'm working on that...

I can't believe that SO FAR I've counted about 20 Crank Dat Remixed... this is CRAZY!! Atlanta is going through a Crank Dat moment and it's getting OUT OF CONTROL!! From Crank Dat Sponge Bob to Crank Dat Road Runner, you can find the dance for you. Even Lil Wayne has a Crank Dat Weezy Wee LOL

The reason why I came across all these Crank Dat Remixes is because once I get my dance team up and running, we're going to show the team to the whole world. It's going to introduce the members and they're going to get 45 seconds to show off their skills. Busy Busy Busy!!

It's seems like lately, I haven't had time for myself. A time to go to a spa, get a nice massage, mud bath, and all the works. Most people have 8 hour days, some have 12, but NO... I wake up at 6:30am and don't get home till 8:00pm sometimes... That almost 14 hours!!
My list of things to do follow:
Full-Time Student in College (4 classes... could of had 5, but that's another story) Midterms, papers and Finals are included
President of my college's dance team
20 hours/week working for the government (I wish they'd allow me to have more)
I'm starting to get into modeling and I'll be doing runways and photoshoots all the time (I'm crossing my fingers)
Community Service is calling my name Wednesdays, Saturdays, and maybe Sundays
Full-Time Friend

Ask me if I'm exhausted???

That's why I treasure the weekends that I go back home to Atlanta. I try to go at least twice a month, one of the many perks of my mom working at the airport... free flying! I'm going next Friday and I can't wait. My mom just bought a house and FINALLY got to decorating my room and I gotta be there (of course). I definately can't wait.

All in all... I'm complaining... BADLY! I need some me time, SOMETHING cause this is stressful. Being that I'm not use to this, maybe it's just me and I need to get over it, but when is it just TOO MUCH to handle?

I see all these working men and women working 9-5's... I work 6:30-8:00... is that too much? My mom told me "Welcome to Being an Adult" and I told her... that's easy for u to say being that you only work 8 hours a day, but on the other hand she IS a full-time mother. I guess this is apart of being an adult. Gosh it's a ball of stress!

ITS FRIDAY!!!!! :)

I'm sitting here putting finishing touches on my essay for this English class and I started going on about the Preamble of the Constitution. ALLLL of a sudden... I thought about School House Rock! I quickly went to YouTube and typed in School House Rock The Preamble, and... IT SHOWED UP!!



People don't know that it was school house rock and the fact that my social studies teacher in the 3rd grade made us watch ALLL the videos that had something to do with US History for 2 weeks straight that made US History my favorite subject. I guess she tried to get it in our heads and it worked! Till this day... I put on the songs, and weirdly enough, 10 years later, I STILL know how a Bill passes through the Supreme Court and the Preamble word for word haha. Im sitting at my desk singing the songs...it's great! I would like my readers to embrace in this and sing along cause I KNOW ya'll know it!(LOL... YouTube is the BEST right now!):

Ok, so Christians around the world are kind of angry and sending out emails saying "Don't accept the new dollar". Honestly, before I got the email, I didn't know anything about this (I know, I know... im slacking on my current events). This is crazy because I don't think anyone has a right to get angry over this (Am I right?).

1st of all, it says in GOD we trust, not in Allah, not in Buddah, but GOD. I not against this, because they should have done this a long time ago. I'm not atheist or anything... I am a Christian and I believe in God, but at the same time... this world is full of so many different cultures. I don't think it's fair to single out anyone. It's like when I was in elementary, high school, and middle school, EVERYONE was required to stand up in say the "Pledge of Allengience" and it said "Under God". Just a couple of years ago did they ban saying the pledge all together in schools. US currency is the next thing...

Today was the day that Mychal Bell was sentenced to 15 years in jail :(. I'm truly keeping his family, as well as everyone else involved in Jena 6, in my prayers.

a) I'm president of my dance team (this would surprise my best friend because back in 8th grade she swore up and down that I couldnt dance if my life depended on me haha... maybe I was alittle off back them, but that was determination to prove her wrong and GUESSSSS WHATTT??????

b) People look at me and don't think in a million years that I would be hard core into Hip-Hop. I know anything from Biggie to Tupac, to Common to Mos Def... I love the culture of Hip-Hop, even though I don't look the part

c) The weirdest song in my ipod that NO ONE would think would be in there... "Beautiful Day" by U2... yea... i love it!

d) I'm 20!!! LOL (i couldnt think of anything serious). Most people think I'm 17 and I'm kind of tired of that lol. Thing is... I dont even dress like I'm 17, I dress like I'm 21 at that, but still I get that, "Are you 18?" question.

e) hmm... i dunno... i guess i'll say something random. I use to work at hOOters as a "hOOter's girl". Contrary to many people's beliefs, we are not strippers (LOL). And it's pretty secured. We had a "body guard" and guys didn't really get unruly with us. I NEVER had a instance where someone got crazy towards me. I actually LOVED that job... it was really fun and laid back. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that we had to wear make-up cause im not big on all that and the shift were kind of funky.

The Great Michael Baisden... MEN CHEAT MORE

I've taken a liking into Baisden. I've read 3 of his books (Maintenance Man, God's Gift to Women and Why Men Cheat). I also try to listen to his talk show whenever I'm in the car on my way home from school.

In the light of his book "Why Men Cheat", I was talking to E2Deep about the subject of cheating. One thing that stuck out was he said that he "heard" a statistic saying that women cheat more then men. Honestly... I dont believe in statistics, and even more so, I STRONGLY don't believe in that stat. Women cheat on men MORE???? NOOOOOOO There HAS to be something wrong with that...

Now I dont necessarily believe that all men are dogs because it wouldnt be fair. Many men are not dogs, but sorry to say... men are bigger whores then women... Am I wrong?? (**ut oh i feel some controversy coming**) And quite frankly... if you're offended, you must fit in that category (Im seriously using the First Amendment).

First of all... I have plenty of males friends that are whore... no names given... and I've asked them why they are that way. Some say because women ask for it, some say because they're young, some say because they can do it and nobody looks at them bad like they would a woman if they do the same thing, and some even say.. because they can... ughh

My thing is... I think men cheat more because they use their other head when it comes to sex. Women are too emotional to let it go down with just anyone (although in this new age.... some women don't care just like men, but that's not enough to make that stat so high for women)

Dance Team Prezzz

Ok, so I'm president of my school, American University's, Hip Hop Dance Team known as the OC (Organized Chaos, formerly known as The Jump Off). Recently I realized having a high position in ANYTHING is hard work. This is pretty good cause it's like practice for my leadership. I'm trying to have my own business and holding the position as the President is good!

So... the last two weeks have been nothing but stress and happiness: Meeting deadlines and everything of course, but in the end, everything has came into place and I'm ready for try outs (YESSS EXCITING!!). I plan to do alot with this dance team. Have dance battles, parties, fundraisers... the works.

Anywho. Im at work, just got here, and ready to leave... but what's new? LOL

This isnt a very exciting post hahaha... and I doubt anyone will comment, but hey... im trying to have a post a day

THIS GUY (whom I know oh so personally) seems to think that women are easy with a simple formula (attention + a compliment= a woman's heart). Honestly, I wasn't offended because I think he's telling the truth, but when he said that if women don't respect themselves, why should he... I told him *personally* that that was ignorant... no... IGNANT! OK... so some women ask for it. I remember when I was in Miami for Memorial Day weekend and there was some females that had little to nothing on WONDERING why all the guys were calling them out of their names AND touching them in all the wrong places. HONESTLY, they asked for it! And then there are women that have been through some stuff and are truly sick. I dont think that gives a man the right to take full advantage of them. Some women may not respect themselves, but at the same time... many of them don't ask for it. Feel me? I feel like I'm confusing myself haha.

Someone told me I had Beyonce's thunda' thighs and I was like.... OOOOHHHH my goosh! LOL. I mean, don't get me wrong... Beyonce is great! And I take that as a compliment, but it's weird cause I remember I was the "coin" of the nickname "slim" about 1 year ago. It's crazy!

So I've made a vow to myself to get into shape. Back in middle/high school I would play softball on the side (not for school), and I was able to run around with no problem, but that's not the case. I mean, I LOVE my figure 34-26-37... it's just I feel myself getting tired after like 3 flights of stairs... and I'm use to being in shape so it's time to bring out the workout clothes in the back of the closet and my gym membership card at the bottom of my business card holder cause it need to turn this into muscle and *work (cover girl) work it now (give it a twirl) hahaha* nah, but seriously, this is madness! LOL...

**OK I wanna clear something up... on my last blog, I was venting and stuff and I did some typos (LOL). Ok my story...



Last night when I was in the car with my BFF, E, coming back from Atlanta, we got on this discussion about hair. About a week ago I put braids in my hair, and yesterday, I took them out (LOL). E was like "Why did u put braids in your hair in the first place?" And I was like, "Because I can't do nothing with this short hair and it's annoying... I dont feel attractive anymore (yea boo hoo hoo lol)" And he was like, "WHAT??? My cousin told me, and I told u this before, 'I never realized how beautiful she was until she cut her hair off. Not too many people can pull off a hair style and it compliments her a lot." Yea... I blushed a little lol
Then he told me, when he cut all of his hair off (he had LONG braids), he felt unattractive because girls didn't go up to him anymore like that when he had braids. I looked at him like "ARE U CRAZY???" (That boy is FINE... I mean... da**), so I told him this, "When you had them braids in your hair, you attracted more 'out there' girls that were more aggressive (because he told me a lot of random females would go up to him and touch his hair). Now you attract more women who wouldn't normally go up to no guy and try to get his number because they feel like they are more content then that." And he agreed, because now he's attracting more of the older women crowd and younger girls use to be the ones coming up to him.

Same thing with me. Yea, I cut all my hair off, and yea, that's stop more guys from coming up to me boldly and talking to me. It's crazy, but I've realized how superficial this world really is. What's so called "attractive" among African-American women is permed straight long hair... not short hair. It's makes me sick, but I know that any man that does come up to me more then likely isn't superficial and realizes the beauty of a black women, hair or no hair. Then I referred to him about what a Good Black Man is...In that poem, I came across one particular part... "Good Black Men are indeed all around us. We pass them on the streets, in the malls, and at work. Most we can't see because we don't know what a good man really looks like. He usually
isn't flashy enough or rich enough to turn our heads. He might not wear a suit or push a Lexus. He might not have a body like Tyson with a Denzel face. But, as you mature, you realize it's better to find someone who's got your back rather than someone who turns your head."



And that's the same for a Good Black Female...



I've come to embrace my hair cause clearly, that's not what I'm all about (my hair). There needs to be more Good Black Men in this world, cause I know plenty of Good Black Females that are looking...

So it's been what... 2 weeks since I last updated this thing??? PST... it's my job!! lol.

Lately my supervisor has been over my shoulder and it's hard simply updating my BLOG... gosh... i can see facebook and myspace but blogger... AREUFREAKINSERIOUS?? So at one point, I think it was Monday, EVERYTHING... blogger, facebook, and myspace was BLOCKED. So Im thinking "Maybe my supervisor did this to me", but as soon as I got on someone else's comp, it wasnt just me... i was relieved that I didnt have a put a can of whoop a** on somebody!! (HAHA... just kidding... i dont promote violence, it's all about world peace ppl!)

So yea... Im sitting here BORED as usual. School is about to start this monday, but at this point Im confused at what Im about to do. I just transferred to Montgomery College because frankly, American University, D.C. is toooooo expensive (try $50,000 and school year) and it's not even worth it! Don't nobody know what American is... DO U??? I didnt think so. So I decided to go to Montgomery because it has interior design and I'm interested in all that (on top of party planning and wedding planning). This is basically up my ally.

At AU I majored in Public Communications for the fact of party planning and all that promoting but I SOON realized... you dont need a degree to do what Im trying to do, so Im wasting my money! I dunno what's gonna happen cause I was kind of late registering for Montgomery and I still havent gotten my classes (HAHA). My only problem is I hope that American lets me withdraw this late... i dont know if I should go to class or what come Monday... I'll talk to my advisor today about that.

Im not having a good day AT ALLLL!! Wonder why I haven't updated in a week? Well, I usually update at work but my supervisor had this GREAT idea that "Let me f*** up Tiara's day and tell her she can't get on the internet anymore". I mean... I DONT GET WORK AS IT IS and I DONT GET ON BAD WEBSITES! The most I get on is websites with news on it and blogs THATS IT! Probably facebook and myspace occassionally but other than that... WHAT's the PROBLEM?
So basically he wants me to sit at my cube and look at my computer for 8 hours??? OOO H-E- double hockey stick NOOOOO UUHHH ignance. I have had it up to here with him as well. He favors this one chick and calls her pet names... UMM>>>> WHAT KIND OF MESS IS THAT??
This is truely unfair so right now i'm in the works of finding a new job (and a better paying one at that)!

Mondays SUCK!!

Ya know... it's kind of annoying knowing when ppl come to your page, but somehow... nobody wants to comment or let u know they stopped by LQTM. I have this funky little counter that lets me know how many people visit my page and where they are from... it's kind of fun, but scary at the same time cause it lets you know they're browser settings, what page they visited, what page they clicked on to exit from your page and blah blah blah... yea, I KNOW who comes on my page (that sounds kind of stalkerish, if that's a word haha) But anywho, since the begining of this month, I've had a total of 248 visits to my page and only about .0000004444 to infinity and beyond percent of those people actually comment... anyone can comment!! OMG Just when I thought my dude Chris from Making the Band 4 was gonna make it to ATLEAST the final 10... Diddy threw up the Dueces and sent him on his way home. I gotta say, the last episode of Making the Band was sooo emotional. They was about to battle and Brian A. was first. He started singing the first verse of "End of the Road" and all the a SUDDEN the other dudes pop off with the chorus. I was like WHOA!!! Im sitting in the house clapping up a storm from what happened. And they sounded GOOD!! Then they put the camera on Diddy's nonchalant face and I was like... DUDE... SMILE!! He's sooo tight faced sometimes and as much as I wanna work for him the near future (by no means am i trying to get a record deal with him, but rather PR or something along those lines.. maybe plan one of his White Parties... who knows. N E WHO). It was really emotional, he pissed me off when he brought in all those other dudes talking about... they gon take ya spots! I was like NO!! I like the dudes they got now, but Diddy is never satisfied so hey... Diddy gets whatever he wants sometimes so I aint mad at him AT ALL. Then at the end when he picked the final people, i was ooh soo happy that Julius made it, but once again, I was P.O.ed at the fact that Chris was short. I mean, YEA he couldnt sing, but he could dance his butt off! PLUS he was improving so well with his vocals... ooh well... I was surprised when that one dude (whose name I cant put my finger on cause he was so quiet and stuff) started crying talking about "Where imma go? That was my house! blah blah blah" I was like awwww =[. Then old dude from New Edition busted out with "We love you, but we ain't in love with you". WHOA... u cold hearted bastard lol

I'm starting to realize that it's sooo soo sooo hard finding TRUE and UNIQUE talent for the music business, I mean HARD. Gosh... I don't know what to do! I'm trying to do this entertainment public relations thing, but it seems like I'm pushing my luck with some people that I'm messing with. I mean, some people I'm dealing with are, IIGHT but I just can't seem to find a prototype uughh it's annoying. I feel like I should just do the modeling industry or something... it's easy! All you gotta do is find a pretty/handsome face with a nice body plus a good height and BAM... you got a model haha. But my passion is singing and I dont want to take the easy way out... I LOVE a challenge.

So I'm faced with a couple of issues. Sometimes I feel like I'm being lazy with the PR stuff. I have connections, it's not like I'm in a hole cause it is who u know and not what u know when it comes to this industry (or having a career in ANYTHING period, point, blank). At the same time, it has nothing to do with laziness, it's just I dont want to go to my connects with some crap and they look at me like I'm crazy and tell me "You lost a connection with this s***, don't ever embarrass me nor yourself with this ever again" hahahaha

So I gotta come correct with these people and I dont think anyone is worthy of my connects yet... IM not even worthy haha (although I hate to admit!). I mean, I can sing or whatever, but I'm sooo shy and nervous when it comes to singing that it's just like... what is the point in trying to have a singing career? I have all the confidence in the world, but singing in front of people that I hardly know is nerve recking (unless Im on a stage... then I can sing my butt off lol).

I got a rapper and a singer that I'm really really trying to get on the scene cause they are... how do u say... PERFECT... (haha) and hook them up... so we'll see what happens!

The big gold chains, door knocker gold earrings, the shiny and colorful jogging pants suits that I had in every color is coming back, the jeans that look like they got caught being washed with the whites (i.e. bleach spots everywhere), the mohawks, big, snowglob glasses, PLASTIC square sunglasses... OMG, when will this madness end??? I HOPE NOT SOON CAUSE IM LOVIN IT!! The one thing I'm not getting and its erkin my nerves to the N is those dang headscarves over the neck... never and I mean NEVER will I be caught with it on. I mean, dont get me wrong, its not for me, but it may look good on others... Also...
The whole punk rock thing is coming to play as well. I think guys in Ed Hardy, fitted (but loose) jeans (Think Usher U Got it Bad), skull wallet chains, mixed with the jumbo gold chains is sexy dude... just SEXY lol.


The evolution of 80s music has also caused an evolution of music. The new song called Aunt Jackie coming from New York is pretty hot. The dance... although I can dance my butt off... **I'm back in FULL EFFECT!**

Sooooo...

I'm sitting here at my first day at work since May 12th listening to some Neo-Soul on my red (PRODUCT) iPod waiting until that 3:45pm mark comes so I can go home, then go shopping, then go to the gym, then sneak a nap in, then cook (or shall we say... microwave, although I can cook, I'm not in the cooking mood right now), then watch CW and sleep after a long 8 hour day at the wonderful government job of the National Institutes of Health in D.C. ::Hold on... I gotta take a breathe::... I think about the summer and what's ahead of me...

I might just try this modeling thing... REALLY this time! Runways sound fun, and although I'm not the proper height (5ft5 1/2... 5ft 8 or 9 1/2 in the proper heels)... I can still do it! I NEED TO FIND A PHOTOGRAPHER TO DO SOME SHOTS FOR ME!! Anybody in the D.C./Maryland/ Virginia area know a good one??
I'm also trying to get really serious about this PR thing too. I already have a potential job promoting for the clubs 1223 and Love (www.lovetheclub.com) and I want to get some party planning in there as well... FUN!!

Most importantly... I WANT TO BE SUCCESSFUL!!

But let's just focus on this summer for now...
My plan is to find a modeling agency or a good designer, do a couple of runway shows, maybe take pics for magazines...dang America's Top Model pisses me off with their 5ft7' height requirement!... work my 9-5 (or in this case 7:30-3:30), and do the club promoting/party planning thing until I can find some REAL and TALENTED singers or rappers to represent and get their names on the map... I can't deal with wackness...

So... change in plans for my summer break... BASICALLY I'm gonna be living in Atlanta/St.Louis for the summer with breaks to Jamacia, LA, and Miami... FUN!! I was suppose to work full time in D.C. for the summer but ehhh... not gonna work. I haven't been home for a summer since 2004... I think it's time for a break!! Im gonna be working though, whether I stay in St.Louis for the summer or in Atlanta... I CANT WAIT!!

A Tribute to my HOMETOWN ATTLL>>>SHAWTY YEA!!

Soo... I can't wait till finals are OVER!! I have 3 more days then I'm done... I may not update after this one for about 3 weeks so BEAR with me ya'll! I'm gonna be traveling like crazy!! I CANT WAITT!!! 1st, i'm heading down to Atlanta to see my mom and sister, then I'm going to Miami to see my best friend and record a song (hopefully) for this new up and coming group DLeague (click the link and go to their myspace page... they're hot!!), then i'm coming back to Atlanta and my mom wants to go to Jamacia for Memorial Day weekend, THEN I'm going to St.Louis to visit my family and friends, and back to D.C. to work FULL TIMEE!! Yea... i'm gonna need that 3 week vacations... I'm taking a TON of pictures!!

I wanted to do a little tribute to Atlanta, Georgia (the best city in the world!) For like the past 3 years, we've taken over the radio stations and BET with our crunk, crunk & b, snap, snap & b, etc, etc... and OF COURSE the dance: Poole Palace, Shootout, Jig Wit it, Snap, Lean Wit it, Walk it Out, Two Step, Motocycle, Heisman, RockStar, Bunny Hop, etc. (and also the older dances... Bankhead Bounce, A-Town Stomp, Donkey Kong, etc). I've had this feeling for a long time that a lot of ya'll are getting tired of our music... our dances... our eveything, and I want to say... haters will hate! lmao... But we've shined, and it is time to put it to rest and do something new you know?? But I want to just show this video by these guys called The Floor Masters. They are choreographers for the famous SO SO Def Records and believe it or not... they've created almost ALLL the dances you've seen on the TV and THENNN SOME!! They got this new dance called "The Temptations" for Johnta Austin's new song "Video" (THATS MY SONGGGGG!! Say it one more time like my name was Mike Jones, say it, say it one more time like my name was MIKE JONES!! haha.) Basically... it don't look like nothing new to me lmao. Look like the snap, 2 step, and jig put together, but it's something about it that makes it hot ANWAYS!! I'm tellin u... it don't look right unless you got the tall tee and baggy jeans on!! haha...Although many haven't heard of them.... they are legends... KUDDOS TO THEM!!

I got a new camera, casio exlim card s770, and it has this funky little movie maker. At first, it only held about 10 minutes of video, but when I got a 2GB memory card... this joker held almost 3 hours of footage!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my camera!! lol. It takes some of the best pictures I've ever seen (more natural looking when it flashes), it's just so purtty and small... LOVES IT!! lol Anywho...

So I was thinking... maybe I should make an inspirational video or something NICE. Who knows... I can maybe submit it to get some scholarships (cause paying $40,000 a year in college tuition ain't no joke!!)

Thing is... I don't know WHAT to write about! There's this one girl that made a video about the discrimination that black women face as just being african-american in general. You have to have a thick body, and straight permed hair... that's what's excepted in today's society... the video was HOT I must say... I'll post it at the bottom. But I want to do something like that, or different, but I don't know what to record about. I NEED HELP!! Any suggestions??

STRESSED... time for an Hiatus

I think I need an hiatus... even though I don't really update like that, I'm REALLY not gonna update.

I just got a lot on my mind

Not to mention, finals are coming up and that just adds on to that stress...

All I have to think about is... this school stuff is gonna pay off, I'm gonna be making money out the bank... finals are almost over... 1 more week and 2 days and it's OVER... I have a 3 week vacation... AHH I can't wait!!!

OH and I was in my communication's class and my teacher was talking about this thing called Flash Mobs. What it is is people connect on the internet and decide to get together at a random place. Mind you that these people have never met each other. So they show up to this random place, do something random and out of the norm.... THEN, after it's all done, they fall on the ground, wait for about 5 seconds, then get up and go on about their business like nothing happened... it's pretty weird and funny at the same time. There was one in California awhile back where about 100 people (I think) had on their iPods and was randomly dancing, to music in their headphones, while people, not knowing what was going on looked at them as if they were crazy lol... I can't find it on youtube, but here is one...
