My weekend was alright. Aside from working, I went to this go-go party in Oxon Hill and it was pretty fun. Of course they played a whole load of go-go music, but I still had some fun. Here's some pics (out of the thousands I took and put on facebook):

I'm actually extremely excited about this week for work. The hOOters in Baltimore is having a "Firemen's Week" and they've asked managers from all hOOters in the DMV area to transfer like 15 girls down there, all gas and hotel expenses paid for. I'm going to be down there from Wed through Fri and I can't wait!!! I'll be making tons of money and having fun in bmore :)

I always value her opinion when it comes to boyfriends. She's a little hard on you at first cause of course she's my mother, but she's like a 21 year old at heart lol

When I got drunk for the first time, I had only 6 drinks (2 shots of Patron, 1 shot of Vodka, 1 Washinton Apple, One Melon Wall, One shot of something the bartender made)... what messed me up was the fact that I had a Washington Apple and if you're a bartender, you know that it has Crown Royal in it... DARK LIQUOR so yea, that's not the most. I had 8 drinks and I was fine (2 melon ball, 2 amaretto sours, 1 sex on the beach, 1 blow job, 1 buttered nipple, and a Hypnotiq cranberry). I'm not an alcoholic, only drink every once in a while but yea... lol

1. What is one thing you have done that you’re most proud of? Graduated from high school and became the first person in my family to go to college... and I'm almost done. PLUS, I broke this pregnancy cycle... everyone in my family has gotten pregnant before their 18th birthday enabling them to go to college... I broke the cycle, now my cousin graduated last year without a baby attending THE Ohio State and my sister is on her way :)

a) I grew up poor
b) People don't know that I'm in Hip-Hop like hardcore... I love everything about Hip Hop, the culture, the music, the graffiti (and when I say Hip-Hop I don't mean this commercial stuff they got out... that's not Hip-Hop!). I know all the lyrics to Biggie's and Tupac's hottest songs... it's crazy. Guys in the clubs look at me like... Whaaaa?? when they see me rapping "One More Chance" LOL
c) I can sing, like BLOW... but that was middle school/high school, I don't sing anymore, I gave that up. When I was in 7th grade, I sang for Jazze Pha and he LOVED me, but I was EXTREMELY shy back then so my singing career wasn't gonna happen. It's funny cause my mom saw him like 2 weeks ago and he asked about me... I left a good impression ain't that something??
d) I'm a Hooter's girl at the Hooters in Chinatown, D.C. I was one my freshman year, and then I came back for the summertime. It erks my nerves how some people think we're strippers and we have no morals in life. It's a job like any other job and quite frankly, it's the best job I've ever had cause the managers aren't uptight and we can dance, sing, whatever... our job is to have fun and make people's visits fun as well. But we don't take our clothes off and we definitely don't make stripper money like people think we do... YEA RIGHT! LOL
e) I want to be an interior designer. My mom thinks I'm kidding but I'm soo serious! Yea, I major in Public Relations, but I minor in Studio Art... what, they think I'm minoring in Art for my health?? LOL no... to understand art, color, form, volume, etc...
f) ***BONUS**** IM A GEEK!! lol I was a geek in high school, I'm a geek now, but people don't believe me. Come on, I read a new book every 3 days, and it's never the same topics, I can read African-American fiction, Non Fiction, comic books, cook books, traveling books, reference books, AP style dictionaries, etc... I love to read.

What Would I Do With 1 Million Dollars? MeMeFriday

Ok, so yesterday I asked readers what they would do if a million dollars just showed up in your wallet/purse? I got some funny responses. What I would do kind of connects with a lot of the responses. I would:

1) Pay off all my loans. Going to a private university is worth it, but at the same time, EXPENSIVE!!!!
2) Invest, save, all that. I want to increase it and I want to save some for a rainy day.
3) Buy my mom an empty building in a good area in Atlanta so she can start on her Day Spa/Hair Salon she's been dreaming about and get a building for my business as well.
4) Buy myself a cute little car. I was thinking an AMG SL-55 Benz, but, since I'm trying to save the money and that's a $125,000 car, I'll opt to get a cute little Scion tc.
5) Go on a $10,000 shopping spree
6) Buy a nice little house in Atlanta if I have enough money left


Now alot of people would look at me like I'm crazy cause it's a million dollars... you gotta splurge, but I couldn't lol I don't think I would even be able to live off of a million dollars for the rest of my life. Now a days with the economy, I think the smart thing to do is just save most of it and try to increase it with investments cause you NEVER know when times will get hard.

1. If you're only as old as you feel, how old are you?
I would have to say 18, I feel young

2. What habits, traits, or behaviors to you engage in that might be considered too young for you? Which might be considered a trait of someone older than you?
Younger- I play around a lot. I'm not immature, but I play jokes
Older- I can be a homebody if I wanted to. A lot my friends would say I'm an old lady cause I don't go out during the week, but um... I got a J.O.B. that I have to wake up at 5am to get to... I'll chance it every once in a while though.

ALSO, even though I play around a lot, many people say that I act WAY mature then people my age. If you'd call my office and I picked up the phone, you'd swear I was like 30 lol

3. Do you ever wish you were a different age than you are now? Why?
NO!! I like being 21 because I can get to almost all the clubs in D.C., I can rent a car without my mom's help, I feel like I get more respect now (even though it sucks that you can't get respect when your 20)... I dunno, 21 is the way to be, all I wonder now is how the 30 and up clubs are, but I'm DEFINITELY not in a rush LOL

4. Do you deliberately behave or dress a certain way to appear or feel younger than you are? How about older?
No... it doesn't matter what I wear, people are still going to question my age. I get 17, 18, 19, never 20 or 21. Sometimes 20, but NEVER 21. It's weird, but I guess it's a good thing because my mom doesn't look a day over 25 and my grandma doesn't look a day over 40... it's like it runs in the family and I'm not complaining lol

1. When it comes to matters of the heart, I have a bad or weird habit of moving too fast.
2. If ever I were to consider getting (a)nother tattoo the body part I would most likely put it is I have many places I plan to get tattoos, but my next one is going to be on my foot.

3. A profession [besides my current], that I would love to have is My own interior decorating company.

4. I am most confident in my ability to dance... if there's one thing that I can do is dance, but I hate choreographing... weird coming from someone on a dance team huh? lol.

5. If I could be granted any three wishes I would ask for my established foundation to come sooner, the ability to be debt free from school loans and success so I can get my mother her hair salon/day spa.

Shrimp Fried Rice from the local Chinamans (Chinese stores for those not up with the derrttyy slang LOL) anywhere in St.Louis, Missouri. I don't know what they do to the rice but it's the BEST compared to this tan rice they sell in D.C.

IMO's PIZZA!!! OMMMMGGG... if you knew the SERIOUSNESS of this pizza!! LOL. It can only be found in St.Louis and Illinois. This is like my number 1 spot for pizza. Can't Nobody do it better... TRY ME!

1) Um... in D.C., you get a house for $200,000... the same house in Atlanta is gonna be $100,000... U DO THE MATH (and yes, people get paid less, but at the same time... Atlanta has some of the most successful and highest paid African-Americans in the United States... IM ON IT!)

2) Where else can u find the crunkest people around???

3)Gas prices aren't EXTRA HIGH!

4) There's always something to do on the weekends. You dont even have to pay... go to Piedmont Park and have a picnic or just chill and go shopping.

5) THE BOUTIQUES ARE AMAZING!!!!!! And there's a variety of restaurants that are fire! Check out this Tapas bar Rare... I RECOMMEND IT!

6) Some of the most beautiful people live there!

About my Howard Homecoming experience, I'm gonna make this short and simple

Friday October 19th, went to the Yardfest and had such performances as Lil Mama, KinFolk (So Krispy), Hurricane (and them damn beads on the ends of his individual braids), my third husband J. Holiday, the sexiness of Ray Valentine (I think that's his name... he's with Konvict Music with his shirt off mmm mmm mm LOL... i need to post this pictures!), One Chance with my 4th husband Courtney... LOVE OF MY LIFEEE!! LOL,Flo Rida, The-Dream (SHAWTY IS A TENN... his sexy self!), and Talib Kweli, with a bunch of local acts. It would have been nice if it wasnt gloomy and raining and hot!

Then that night, Lil Wayne was supposed to be at H20, but it was gonna be packed and I didnt feel like getting there 3 hours early to guarantee a chance to get in. Im glad I didnt go because I heard he locked himself in VIP and never performed... what a Drama QUEEEN!

Then the next day, the Kappas had a party at Fur Night Club... from 2am to 10am... REDIC! It wasn't happening. I was getting calls from here and there talking about (at 1am) the line was down the block, ppl fighting and everything. THEN when it opened at 2am, the line was moving a centimeter every 5 minutes. SO NOOOO DICE! I decided to just chill.

Yep, my homecoming weekend SUCKEDDDDD! UGHHHH

My Weekend and MeMe Monday

Well... my weekend was great. I went home (Atlanta, Georgia) for the weekend, hung out with my mom and my best friend, also known as my little (14) sister. It was pretty great. Everytime me and my sister is together, I don't care if Im 20, I act like I'm 14 LOL. It's the only time I get to show some high energy and not have grown people look at me like... "What the he** is her problem?" LOL It's great. Saturday, I hung out with my sister and we watched Boyz N The Hood On Demand. We looked at the movie as a PURE comedy. FIRST, it was the little 10 year old with the greasy afro jerry curl, THEN, we laughed at the fact the Morris Chestnut had a gallon of milk in one hand, and **I think** an ice cream sandwich in the other hand... CLEARLY hungry and thirsty. THEN there was this one dude that was EATING his 40 haha... eating it. I mean, he was munching on it like it was a meal. LASTLY, there's this part where Cuba and Morris go and see Cuba's dad. There's this girl that walks by and they look at her. Only thing I noticed was the fact that she almost fell and they didn't cut that part off for that poor girl. We laughed for days on that one. hahaha GOOD TIMES. Now whenever you guys see Boyz in the Hood, you'll noticed the comedy in the movie.
So all in all... me and my sister act silly, my mom looks at us like we're silly. But at the same time, I PROMISE YOU, my mom is like the coolest mother to have. So my mom is tooo silly. Because she's young, I'll give her that. First of all... her song of the moment is "Hood Figga (Ni**a)" [Thank goodness she only knows the clean version haha] by Gorilla Zoe and Shoulda Let You Go by Keisha Cole (which she repeated 3 times in a row while we drove to downtown Atlanta Friday) PLUS she can GET IT with some 2 Step and Lean Wit it, Rock Wit It. I dunno if it's the south or what, but mothers aren't suppose to be that crunk... LOL

Anywho... that was my weekend in a nut shell. I caught up on some sleep, got to think A LOT about some things, and yea... it was laid back with plenty of chillaxing and meditation. To end this, here is a meme called "If You Could..."

1. If you could have your dream home, what are 5 “must haves” that you would want it to include? a customized kitchen (I plan to cook all the time), a customized bathroom (bathrooms are important), I'm big on stars and stuff and my dream house is gonna be in the middle of nowhere (clear from air pollution) so I can put in a see through ceiling so that I can see the stars every night (though the rain may start bothering me LOL), a very tall and glimmerous (yes... I made that one up) chandelier, and a beautiful family to share it with :)

2. If you could have your dream vehicle, what would it be? The $130,000 of my AMG SL55 Mercedes- Benz. Pitch black exterior, ruby red leather interior.. beautiful!

3. If you could change ONE thing about your life, what would it be and why?
Hmm... good question. I dont think I would change anything. Everything happens for a reason and you're supposed to learn from them. Yea, i've made mistakes in my life, but GUESS WHAT?? I'm human! Nobody's perfect and no one will be.

4. If you could change ONE thing about the way you look, what would it be and why?
One thing huh? I could tone more... but that can be done as soon as I stop being lazy already! Plus, I'm dancing, so that's helping me get back into shape

5. If you could be on a reality show (from Survivor to Dancing With the Stars to Top Chef), which one would you be on and why?
Definately America's Next Top Model. If I COULD, I'd try out, but I'm only 5ft5 and the height requirement is 5ft7

SCHOOL HOUSE ROCK and MeMe Friday

ITS FRIDAY!!!!! :)

I'm sitting here putting finishing touches on my essay for this English class and I started going on about the Preamble of the Constitution. ALLLL of a sudden... I thought about School House Rock! I quickly went to YouTube and typed in School House Rock The Preamble, and... IT SHOWED UP!!



People don't know that it was school house rock and the fact that my social studies teacher in the 3rd grade made us watch ALLL the videos that had something to do with US History for 2 weeks straight that made US History my favorite subject. I guess she tried to get it in our heads and it worked! Till this day... I put on the songs, and weirdly enough, 10 years later, I STILL know how a Bill passes through the Supreme Court and the Preamble word for word haha. Im sitting at my desk singing the songs...it's great! I would like my readers to embrace in this and sing along cause I KNOW ya'll know it!(LOL... YouTube is the BEST right now!):











OK... that's enough haha. There was one video that I saw in class that's not on Youtube... the one about the 3 rings and a circus that has to do with government... anybody find it, shoot me an email :)

Today was the day that Mychal Bell was sentenced to 15 years in jail :(. I'm truly keeping his family, as well as everyone else involved in Jena 6, in my prayers.



Today is wear all black (for unity) or green (for growth, I believe). Me personally... I have on black, but it's anyone's choice :)

hmm... good question

a) I'm president of my dance team (this would surprise my best friend because back in 8th grade she swore up and down that I couldnt dance if my life depended on me haha... maybe I was alittle off back them, but that was determination to prove her wrong and GUESSSSS WHATTT??????

b) People look at me and don't think in a million years that I would be hard core into Hip-Hop. I know anything from Biggie to Tupac, to Common to Mos Def... I love the culture of Hip-Hop, even though I don't look the part

c) The weirdest song in my ipod that NO ONE would think would be in there... "Beautiful Day" by U2... yea... i love it!

d) I'm 20!!! LOL (i couldnt think of anything serious). Most people think I'm 17 and I'm kind of tired of that lol. Thing is... I dont even dress like I'm 17, I dress like I'm 21 at that, but still I get that, "Are you 18?" question.

e) hmm... i dunno... i guess i'll say something random. I use to work at hOOters as a "hOOter's girl". Contrary to many people's beliefs, we are not strippers (LOL). And it's pretty secured. We had a "body guard" and guys didn't really get unruly with us. I NEVER had a instance where someone got crazy towards me. I actually LOVED that job... it was really fun and laid back. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that we had to wear make-up cause im not big on all that and the shift were kind of funky.

Insomnia – Sometimes... i sleep at weird hours and it messes me up from time to time
